Leah is thrilled to be a part of the Dance Unlimited Faculty! She was the Founding Artistic Director of Balance Dance Company, from 1998-2015 and most recently worked as the Performing Arts Specialist at Foothills School of Arts and Sciences. During 2017 and 2018 she was the Kidfort co-director at Boise’s Treefort Music Festival. Leah brings over twenty-five years of expertise and deep connections in Boise's performing arts community. She has choreographed dances for Balance, Idaho Dance Theatre, DROP dance collective, Boise Contemporary Theater, The Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Idaho Theater For Youth, and the Boise Art Museum. She was an adjunct faculty member in the Theater Department at The College of Idaho, teaching and choreographing most of their plays and musicals, as well as adjunct faculty in dance at Boise State University teaching Ballet and Modern. Currently, Leah is meeting the challenge of educating some of our community’s most vulnerable children as the Director of Education at the Interfaith Sanctuary. She is the proud mother of Rafferty and Matilde, who also is a dancer.
